PM asks to accelerate reform in customs procedures

VGP - The PM has asked to review the current legal document system to reduce unsuitable administrative procedures to ensure an open business environment and facilitate business activities in accordance to international regulations.

The PM’s conclusion at the meeting on administrative reform in customs has been announced, in which the heads of ministries are required to br responsible for the implementation of the administrative reform.

The PM also highlights the cooperation and communication between ministries and sectors as they work towards tackling difficulties in the implementation as quickly as possible.

To launch effectively a one-stop mechanism, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) is assigned to coordinate with other relevant ministries and agencies to boost up the officially connection of the one-stop mechanism portal with the information systems of related ministries.

Ministries and sectors need to enhance the application of information technology in form of outsourced information and technology services and online formalities.

The PM called for development in customs agencies, mobilize social resources for equipping and carry out some public services on customs.
