Deputy PMs Vu Van Ninh, Vu Duc Dam, and Ministers and leaders of some related agencies joined the meeting.

Reforming administrative procedures, improving the business environment, and increasing the competitiveness of businesses, products and economy have still not progressed to the rate it should be, the PM stressed.

An uncompetitive business environment can not attract investment, the PM said, adding that the competitiveness determines the development of the nation.

He underlined the importance of reforming administrative procedures in customs and improving competitive capacity, regarding it as crucial tasks requiring ministries, agencies and localities to join hands and hold responsible.

The PM also highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary coordination in making administrative procedures in customs better.
