PM asks for full awareness of five-point governance rules

First of all, that is the resolve to build an untarnished, incorruptible and disciplined Government which facilitates development and shapes an better environment for businesses.

Second, more energy should be made to improve institutions in order to create better legal framework for citizens and businesses. Decentralization should be further strengthened.

Third, transparency and accountability should be strengthened, “ask-give” mechanism should be abolished in all fields.

Fourth, socialization process should be fostered and private sector is considered as a major driving force of growth and job creation.

Third, authority levels should uphold their responsibility on the basis of their assigned functions and competence.

Strengthening discipline must be an urgent political mission of the Government, each Cabinet member, each ministry and locality, PM Phuc emphasized.

Discipline, rule of law and democracy will create new impetus for socio-economic development, said the Government chief, adding that he will issue a directive on enhancing discipline, improving effectiveness of the Government performance./.
