Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh, Deputy PMs Vuong Dinh Hue and Vu Duc Dam and leaders from some ministries and agencies were present at the meeting.

The court sector has proposed comments to the establishment of mechanisms, policies on prevention and control of crimes, said Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, expressing thanks to the Government for facilitating the court sector in human resources training and construction of the Viet Nam Court Academy.

Mr. Binh expected that the Government will support the sector to build and upgrade infrastructure as some headquarters of courts are damaged.

Speaking at the meeting, the PM hailed positive developments in the court sector in fields of more transparency, enhancing administrative procedure reform and creating favorable conditions for people to supervise, adding that international organizations highly value reforms in Viet Nam’s court system.

He highlighted coordination between the Supreme People’s Court and the Government in civil law enforcement, law making, legal guidance and judicial assistance.

The Government leader affirmed that the Government always facilitates judicial agencies to launch justice reform and improve infrastructure, urging the court sector should accelerate to address issues of social spotlights.

PM Phuc asked to apply justice technology in one-door mechanism and improve professional capacity in management of the sector.
