The PM made that statement at his working session with leaders of Ninh Thuan Province on its socio-economic development on October 5 in Ha Noi. Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung also joined the meeting.

According to the report on the province’s socio-economic development over the recent nine months of 2018, the GRDP reached 10.2% and the province will fulfill all 15 targets set for 2018.

The Government leader referred to the province’s difficulties and shortcomings, including small economic scale, low GRDP income per capita and natural calamity badly affecting local people’s lives.

He proposed the province continue renewing management work, enhance administrative procedure reform, restructure agriculture in line with new rural establishment, reduce the number of poor households, strengthen management of forest and public land and develop irrigation.
