PM arrives in Vientiane for CLV summit

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on November 24 arrived in Vientiane, the capital of Laos to attend the eighth Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam (CLV) Development Triangle Summit.

Viet Nam’s participation in the Summit aims to consolidate and develop the comprehensive cooperative relations with Laos, strengthen the relationship with Cambodia as well as enhancing the coordination between the three countries in launching cooperative programs in terms of national defense, security, socio-economic development in the Development Triangle Area.

The Summit, held on November 25, will review the implementation of the master plan for socio-economic development of the CLV Development Triangle Area until 2020, and the memorandum of understanding on special preferential policies for the area. 

Late on the day, PM Dung will meet with his Lao and Cambodian counterparts Thongsing Thammavong and Hunsen, respectively.
