VNGOVNet – In the afternoon of November 27 interpellation, answering the question about online interaction between the people and Government members, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng affirmed that the PM, his Deputy PMs and ministers would interact with the people on the Government website (www.vietnam.gov.vn).

The PM revealed that in fact, he had directed the VNGOVNet to reserve a section at the Government website to receiving the people’s comments, opinions and complaints to deal with. For over one month since the section was put in place, many of the people's questions have been answered and their concerns addressed. The Government, the PM and ministries have listened to the people’s comments, considered and handled them properly.

The PM stressed that in the time to come, the Government will continue with this practice. He said it is significant for the Government to be close to the people and listen to their legitimate aspirations in order to be able to make sound and prompt decisions.

The PM said that he was ready to personally talk with the people via VNGOVNet. He suggested that not only leaders of ministries but also his Deputy PMs should do the same. According to the PM, online talks with the people and National Assembly interpellations are good for the people and National Assembly to exercise their right to supervision. Through interpellations and online talks, the Government can present before the National Assembly and to the people the assignments set for and solutions delivered by itself, ministries, and local authorities in order to solicit their understanding and comments.
