PM agrees to continue petroleum cooperation with Russia
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng approved the Additional Protocol signed on September 11, 2007 in Moscow to the July 16, 1991 Agreement on Oil and Gas Cooperation between Việt Nam and the Russian Federation through the joint-venture Vietsopetro.

Earlier, on September 11, 2007, during his official visit to Russia, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his Russian counterpart had witnessed the signing of the Additional Protocol to the 1991 Inter-governmental Agreement on Vietsopetro. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to continue and extend their bilateral cooperation in the field of petroleum exploitation.
The PM also approved an agreement signed on September 25, 2007 in New York between Việt Nam and Ukraine on receiving citizens of the two countries.
