PM: VN prioritizes education cooperation with Lao

VGP – Việt Nam always gives top priority to education cooperation with Laos, stated PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng while hosting a reception to Lao Education Minister Somkot Mangnomek.

The host leader reaffirmed the consistent policy pursued by the Vietnamese Party and State to place importance on and give priority to the friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos, especially in the field of education and training.

According to the Vietnamese PM, education cooperation between the two countries is blooming. Last year, Việt Nam received over 5,000 Lao students and will welcome 650 more this year.

Minister Somkot Mangnomek said that Laos is trying to improve quality of education, select excellent students to be sent to Việt Nam and make full use of the contingent of cadres trained here.
