PM Phuc arrives in Switzerland for WEF Davos 2019

VGP - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a high-level Vietnamese delegation arrived in Switzerland on the morning of January 23 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2019 in Davos.

As scheduled, the Vietnamese PM will join other leaders to attend the opening session “Meeting of leaders on ocean action agenda” on January 23. In addition, he is going to hold meetings with a number of leaders of countries attending the WEF Davos2019.

In particular, PM Phuc and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab will co-chair a dialogue with leaders of global groups on the Vietnamese economy under the theme “Promoting dynamism and innovation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

He is due to have a series of bilateral meetings with with leaders of various multinational corporations who are in Switzerland for the WEF Davos 2019 activities.

PM Phuc’s participation in the WEF Davos Annual Meeting is the first multilateral diplomatic activity of the Vietnamese Party and State leaders in 2019, holding great significance in terms of politics, foreign affairs and socio-economics./.
