VNGOVNet – As of the end of February 8, the preparatory work for PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng’s online talk to the public at home and overseas was finished. The talk is scheduled to last from 9 AM to 11.30 AM. For days, the public and  interested people have sent quite a lot of questions to the PM through the Government’s Website at www.chinhphu.vn, Communist Party of Vietnam’s website at www.dangcongsan.vn and VietNamNet at www.vietnamnet.vn. As of the end of February 7, the Organizing Board had received up to 20,000 questions and will continue to take questions during the talk. According to the Organizer, most of the received questions show a high sense of responsibility and constructivism towards Vietnam’s Party, State and Government. The questions also reflect people’s desire and wish to raise their initiatives to building a “socialist Vietnam of rich people, powerful country, equal, democratic and civilized society, for successful international integration and sustainable development” which is the actual theme of the talk.

The talk is expected to not only attract members of the public inside and outside Vietnam but also press people. Among foreign news agencies having registered to cover the event are Reuters, AFP, and Kyodo.
