PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng visits workers at Sơn La Hydropower Plant and people in Sơn La Prov.

VNGOVNet – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and the Government’s working team on February 12 visited staff, engineers, workers and soldiers working at the construction site of the Sơn La Hydroelectric Plant and people in Sơn La Province and wished them a happy Lunar New Year.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng hailed leaders and people in Sơn La Province for ranking first within the Northwest region in socio-economic development and effectively assisting people remove from the site of the Sơn La Hydropower Plant to new resettlement quarters.

The PM lauded all cadres, engineers and workers who will spend their coming Lunar New Year Holiday to work at the construction site in order to be able to finish the country’s biggest key hydroelectricity project on schedule.

On the same day, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng also paid a visit to a resettlement quarter at Tân Quỳnh Hamlet, Cò Nòi Commune, Mai Sơn District. The PM gladly saw the local people’s better improved life in new residence. He highly appreciated the district and communal governments for their great efforts in providing people with accommodation, clean water and production lands to stabilize their life in the new resettlement quarter. 

Moved at the PM’s visit, Mr. A Péng, a 72-year-old villager in Tân Quỳnh, told to the Government Website’s reporter: "Since removing to the new residence, we are very glad. Here, we all have new house, rice field, production land, water supply and electricity".
