Addressing the Conference, the PM stressed that to support the country’s sustainable and rapid development, it is necessary to stimulate investment from all sources. The sector should review its administrative procedures for lifting of unnecessary processes causing hindrances to the public and enterprises. “The procedures to register enterprise establishment and investment should be quicker to process and spare enterprises undue waiting time”, said the PM.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng requested the planning and investment sector to raise its sense of responsibility, create an open and favorable business environment for foreign investors; improve the efficiency of managing investment capital from the State budget by identifying specific focuses and delegating more power to local authorities in managing the funds in order to contribute to bringing about rapid and sustainable development to the national economy.

The PM also reminded the sector to check for the postponed planning schemes and those receiving disapproving feedback from the people. In drawing up schemes and plans, it is necessary to publicize their fundamental benefits, contents and implementation schedule, he said.
