PM Dũng works on Hà Nội zoning plan

The planning of the capital city’s technical urban infrastructure is progressing with a focus on developing five satellite urban areas involving six major sectors: industry, trade, healthcare, education, agriculture and water supply.

During the working session, representatives from central ministries and sectors contributed their opinions on the zoning plan for both sides of the 12km Nội Bài-Nhật Tân expressway, which is regarded as an international gateway and a highlight of modern Hà Nội.

In his speech, PM Dũng praised Hà Nội’s efforts to carry out the plan after it was approved and asked municipal leaders to manage the zoning properly and effectively in according to the adopted plan.

He underlined the need to integrate the Hà Nội zoning plan with the master development plan for the northern Red River Delta and ensure a green environment.

PM Dũng also asked Hà Nội to propose specific mechanisms to rapidly implement the plan by mobilizing all available resources and choosing reliable, capable investors.

The PM stressed that Hà Nội should coordinate closely with the Ministry of Transport to ensure the progress on the construction of a new Nội Bài airport terminal, the Nội Bài-Nhật Tân expressway and the Nhật Tân Bridge. - VOV
