PM Dung stressed the projects’ significance in realizing the Party’s direction in building socio-economic infrastructure.

He praised efforts of the Ministry of Transportation (MOT), Ha Noi and relevant agencies in overcoming difficulties to complete the projects on schedule.

The Government leader asked the MOT to quickly finish the required work to ensure Nhat Tan bridge and the connecting route are handed over to the capital as planned.

PM Dung reminded the MOT and Ha Noi authority about human resources preparation to operate effectively the facilities, particularly T2 Terminal, which represents the country’s image to visitors.

He also stressed the importance of the aviation industry’s development, especially security and safety aspects.

The key national projects, which are funded by the Japanese Government’s official development assistance and the Government’s counterpart capital, have been completed on schedule and will be put into operation on January 4, 2015.

The facilities’ launching is significant to improving the capital’s transportation, contributing to socio-economic development of Hanoi, its surrounding regions and the whole country.

Nhat Tan bridge is one of the three biggest cable suspension bridges in the world and a symbol of the Viet Nam-Japan friendship.

The Nhat Tan-Noi Bai International Airport route is designed modernly to help shorten travel time between the capital and the airport.

T2 Terminal is the country’s most modern terminal, covering 139,300 square meters with four floors to serve around 10 million passengers per year. It helps ease overloads in T1 Terminal and ensure transportation in the future.
