Local voters asked the government to continue taking good care of individuals and families who have rendered services to the revolution, as well as poor and vulnerable groups in the locality.

They called for direct support for farmers, particularly in seeking markets for agricultural products, and more investment on rural infrastructure building.

On behalf of the delegation of NA deputies of Hai Phong, PM Dung took note of voters’ opinions. He affirmed that the Party and State pay great attention to agricultural and rural development. He pledged that the Government will continue allocating appropriate resources to boost the sustainable development of agriculture sector.

The PM made clear that the program of building new-style rural areas is part of the industrialization and modernization of the agriculture sector as well as rural areas, aiming to improve the living conditions for rural residents.

Therefore, the government will continue to increase investment in the program while adjusting the criteria of new-style rural areas to match reality, he said.

The government leader also requested Hai Phong city to make greater efforts in implementing the program.
