PM: Dong Thap-spotlight in investment, business environment
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his joy to see foreign and domestic investors and businesses attending the investment promotion conference in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap and showing their determination to launch operation in Viet Nam.

The PM proposed the province develop agricultural production in a green, clean and transparent way, focusing on high-tech and organic agriculture in line with the fourth industrial revolution and attracting large investors.
It is necessary to put farmers as the center of agricultural restructuring and establish a harmonious relationship between farmers with businesses and the State, he said, asking the local authorities to set up socio-economic development orientations and policies to connect with larger markets, especially Ho Chi Minh City in such areas as tourism, infrastructure and real estates.
The province needs to integrate strategies on climate change adaption into the socio-economic development strategy to ensures sustainable and active development goals, he added.
The PM asserted to stabilize the macro-economy, improve the business and investment environments and enhance international competitiveness, adding that the Government commits to protecting legal benefits for investors.
At the conference, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc pressed the button to launch online public administrative services at level 3 and 4 at egov.dongthap.gov.vn
The provincial People’s Committee granted investment certificates and memoranda of understanding worth around VND24,000 billion.
