The forum set its agenda over the alliance among Vietnamese enterprises in the context when Eastern Europe is gradually merged into EU and Schengen Treaty for easier trade between the East and West of Europe.

Through the forum, the enterprises could exchange their experience in order to optimize cost, ensure fundamental rights, and assist Vietnamese community in the era of EU and global integration. In addition, they also shared valuable knowledge to penetrate into the European capital markets, have an insight in the EU’s import procedures, and know how to start doing business. Some enterprises brought to the forum their ongoing or possible projects in Europe and Việt Nam.

Addressing the Forum, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Lê Danh Vĩnh briefed Việt Nam’s current economic situations as well as its close ties with the EU. He highly appreciated the efforts made by the Vietnamese business circle in Europe.

He underscored that the Ministry is willing to assist overseas Vietnamese enterprises in boosting up export, attracting investors, and exploiting industrial advantages from the EU for national development.

The forum agreed to set up the Union of Vietnamese Enterprises Associations in Europe.
