Open Budget Portal makes debut
VGP – The Ministry of Finance on August 26 officially launched the Open Budget Portal, a key to a transparent and accountable future.

Speaking at the event, Minister Dung said that the Portal aims to support the process of open budget faster and more exactly. It also helps simplify open budget reporting at ministerial-level agencies and localities.
For the people, businesses, researchers and international and domestic originations, the portal is regarded as a channel to provide essential data and information relevant to the national budget and finance, thus enhancing social concerns and supervisions on the issue.
Viet Nam has entered the process of intensive international integration into the world’s economy, Dung said, expressing his hope that development partners continue coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to share international rule to put into practice in Viet Nam.

The Portal, established by the Ministry of Finance, is sponsored by the Viet Nam Public Financial Management (PFM) Analytical and Advisory Assistance (AAA) Program.
