Oil retail prices continue to drop

VGP - RON 95-IV price falls to 17,750 VND per litre from 18,290 VND, while the price of RON 95-III is down to 17,600 VND per litre from 18,140 VND from on January 1.

The Viet Nam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) on January 1 announced petrol price cuts following a decision jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. 

Accordingly, RON 95-IV price falls to 17,750 VND per litre from 18,290 VND, while the price of RON 95-III is down to 17,600 VND per litre from 18,140 VND.

The price of E5 fuel RON 92 drops slightly from 16,780 VND to 16,270 VND per litre. Those of diesel oil and kerosene are now 15,050 VND per litre and 14,180 VND per litre, respectively. 

This is the first petrol price decrease in 2019 and the sixth consecutive time of petrol price cut since October 2019./.
