Official website of 26th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum makes debut

VGP - National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong launched the official website of the 26th Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF-26) in Ha Noi on November 17.

The website, available at http://appf26.vn, was designed to update official information on programs as well as approved documents of the forum.

It also provides information about the people and culture of Viet Nam and the Legislature’s contribution to multi-lateral parliamentary diplomacy.

The website consists of seven main sections in Vietnamese and English.

The APPF was founded by former Japanese PM Yasuhiro Nakasone on March 15, 1993, bringing together parliamentarians from the Asia-Pacific region to discussions on issues of common concern.

The forum’s proceedings address political, security, economic, social and cultural issues, thus furthering regional cooperation and building relations between and among parliamentarians across the Asia-Pacific region./.
