The Government chief recently instructed the OOG to coordinate with the OECD to carry out the survey within the second half of 2010, of which the outcomes will be fed to the making of Việt Nam’s administrative procedures and institutional reforms in the period of 2011-2020.

The PM also entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to cooperate with the OOG and OECD to host an ASEAN seminar on institutional reform in December 2010. The assessment outcomes of Project 30 will be made public at the seminar in order to boost linkages among ASEAN countries.

Recently, the Government approved the simplification of 258 prioritized administrative procedures. The scenario for the simplification of over 5,000 administrative formalities will be presented to the Government in the third quarter.
