Number of visitors to Da Nang rockets

VGP – Up to 3.23 million visitors traveled to the central city of Da Nang in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%, including 1.22 million foreigners, up 72.2%.

The city is launching four direct air flights to Daegu and Incheon (the Republic of Korea), Hong Kong (China) and Bangkok (Thailand).

The city’s People’s Committee announced that the city posted a regional domestic products growth of 8.1% in the first half.

It reported remarkable growths in other sectors such as industry, agriculture, services, commerce, trade, domestic and foreign investment and State budget revenue. 

The city continues to take the lead in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) for the fourth successive year, the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR Index) and the VietNam IT Industry Index for the eighth successive year.

The city will direct agencies to prepare for the successful organization of the APEC Summit Week 2017 in the second half of the year.
