Noticeably, an average spending of Russian tourists in Viet Nam is much higher than those from other countries.

Ms. Inna Ivanova from Airt Tour said that the cooperation among travel agencies of the two countries made positive contribution to accelerating the flow of Russian tourists to Viet Nam.

The executive director of Russia’s Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), Maya Lomidze revealed that Russian visitors have prioritized Asian beaches over the recent years.

Viet Nam has enjoyed good tour sale in the Southeast Asian region and competed against only Thailand.

Ms. Lomidze forecast that the number of Russian tourists to Viet Nam would reach a record high of 700,000. Meanwhile, Ms. Yulia Mitrofanova a representative from Focus Travel predicted that the number may touch about 1 million./.
