VNGOVNet – On November 30, on behalf of the PM, Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng agreed in principle a plan to receive the additional aid of NOK20 million (equivalent to US$3 million) from the Norwegian Government for the National Education Goals Program in 2007 (NEGP).

The PM assigned the Ministry of Finance to revise Appendix 1 of the Agreement between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Government and the Kingdom of Norway Government on funding the NEGP before signing the revised agreement with the authorized representative of the Norwegian Government. The Ministry of Education and Training was entrusted to carry out program activities and run the program's reporting and auditing systems in line with the commitments it made to the sponsor.
