No visa fee for int’l tourists to VN in Q4

VGP – The Government just decided to exempt entry visa charges for foreign tourists who enter Việt Nam between October and the year end under the country’s tourism promotion program 2010 named "Việt Nam – Your Destination.”

September 30, 2010 7:20 PM GMT+7

Foreign tourists travel by tricycles in a street of Hà Nội
The program consists of seven campaigns, including the “Impressive grand sale 2010” in Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng and Hồ Chí Minh City; “Friendly Việt Nam welcomes you”; and the “Back to the origin” for overseas Vietnamese in Australia, France, the UK and the US,

The above campaigns have helped to rev up the number of foreign arrivals to the country by 34.9% in the first seven months against the same period last year, or some 2.93 million turns, according to the Việt Nam National Administration of Tourism.

Besides, Vietnamese tourist firms have also launched a series of impressive promotion campaigns on the occasion of the 1000th birthday anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội.
