The number of mobile phone subscribers outpaces the Vietnamese population

VTC Digicom, an affiliate of the Corporation, will provide their clients, focusing on young ones, with 3G mobile services by using EVN Telecom’s infrastructure, said Vice Director Chu Tiến Đạt.

The VTC expects to expand its services throughout the country by this year's end.

Other eight mobile operators include Viettel, Mobiphone, Vinaphone, S-phone, EVN Telecom, Vietnammobile, GTel Mobile, and Đông Dương Telecom.

Last year, Việt Nam got total 130 million phone subscribers, including 110 million mobile subscribers, in comparison to the population of over 86 million, according to the MIC.
