Nicaragua supports VN’s UNSC non-permanent membership
VGP – Nicaragua is willing to support Viet Nam as the nation takes over the non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council in 2020-2021 tenure.

Colindre said that his ongoing visit aims to enhance economic, trade and investment exchanges as the two countries have joined a number of free trade agreements.
He took the occasion to convey the Nicaraguan President’s congratulations to Viet Nam on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day and the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Testament.
PM Phuc spoke highly of the outcomes of the talks between the Nicaraguan FM and Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh earlier the same day, saying they would contribute to further strengthen the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He affirmed Viet Nam attaches importance to accelerating cooperation with Nicaragua, especially in agriculture and suggested the sides improve legal framework to further expand trade and investment ties.
In telecommunication, Viet Nam stands ready to develop a safe and modern telecommunication network in Nicaragua if requested, Phuc said.
In addition, Viet Nam is also ready to supply rice to Nicaragua, he added./.
