Newly-established enterprises in September set new record

VGP – The number of newly-established enterprises in September of 2017 was estimated at 8,610, with the total capital of VND80,566 billion, setting a record in comparison with the figures recorded in the same period of years ago, according to the Agency for Business Registration.

The average capital for each new enterprise reached VND9.4 billion, down 11.7%.

The number of enterprises re-operated in September is 1,946, up 21.2%. 

As many as 1,564 enterprises stopped operating in this month, down 6.2%.  

Over the recent nine months of the year, the number of newly-established and re-operating enterprises was estimated at 115,067, including 93,967 newly-established ones. 

As much as VND2.144 trillion in the newly-registered and additional capital from businesses contributed to the economy in nine months.

In comparison with the first nine months of 2013, the number of newly-established enterprises, registered capital and average capital for each enterprise witnessed respective increases of 1.6 times, three times and two times.
