New regulations on Laos’ transit goods in VN

The application records for transit licenses are submitted to the Bureaus of Export and Import in Đà Nẵng or Hà Nội.

The duration to license or extend the transit licenses is 5 working days since the reception of valid application records.

Transit goods must be carried by licensed or authorized transporters.

Transit goods are permitted to stay in Việt Nam for 30 days in maximum since the date of completing customs procedures.

The goods will be monitored by Vietnamese customs during the transit term.

Transit goods named in the Prohibition Lists are not sold or bought in tại Việt Nam.
