The first flight will take off on May 18, with the 195-seat A321 aircraft.

Air Seoul is currently operating six A321 chartered planes, including two 220-seat and four 195-seat ones. It is offering services on routes to 16 cities in five countries and territories, namely Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia, China’s Hong Kong and the U.S. territory of Guam.

Currently, there are now around 160,000 Vietnamese people living in the RoK, and about 150,000 Koreans are in Viet Nam.

The new direct air route aims to expand the carrier’s services in the Asia-Pacific region.
