New Head of Government Office approved

VGP - Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Van Nen was approved by the National Assembly as Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government on November 14.

The newly appointed official enjoying 85,94% of votes at in the National Assembly (NA) took over the post when previous incumbent Vu Duc Dam  left to take over a Deputy Prime Minister role.

Nen was born on July 14, 1957 and got a bachelor of law degree. He was Secretary of the Go Dau District Party Committee, Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Central Highlands before serving as Deputy Head ofthe Party Central Committee's Commission for Communication and Education.

On behalf of lawmakers, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his hope that Minister Nen would spare no efforts to fulfill his newly entrusted tasks.
