Viet Nam Airlines resumes four domestic routes in October.

These air routes include Ho Chi Minh City-Tuy Hoa, Vinh (Nghe An Province)-Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa Province), Da Nang City-Nha Trang and Da Nang City-Phu Quoc Island (Kien Giang Province).

Viet Nam Airlines’ reopening of domestic flights to several safe destinations aims to meet the travel demands of passengers and maintain its business operations amid the effective control of the COVID-19 outbreak in Viet Nam.

It resumed six domestic routes in early September, including Ha Noi - Chu Lai, Ha Noi - Tuy Hoa, Vinh - Buon Ma Thuot, and Hai Phong - Dien Bien.

In the first nine months of 2020, Viet Nam Airlines carried nearly 40,000 passengers on domestic routes, an annual increase of 12%, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The carrier is currently operating 45 domestic routes with close to 200 flights a day./.
