Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung speaks at the ceremony

Twenty enterprises of the honorees have received the award six times, while there are 24 debutants.

Addressing the event, Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed that the results attained by the business community, particularly the “Viet Nam Value” title recipients, are a significant premise and a nucleus to stimulate enterprises to create many new quality products, contributing to boosting socio-economic development.

The Government and the PM put great expectations on the businesses’ capabilities, especially those with the “Viet Nam Value” title, he said, noting that the Government always recognizes the pioneering role of key forces of businesses in overcoming challenges.

The “2018 Viet Nam Value” program honors 97 businesses

The deputy PM encouraged the honorees to continue pursuing the values of quality, renovation, innovation and pioneering capabilities, while meeting with the trust and love from consumers for the “Viet Nam Value” products and services.

The Viet Nam Value – National Brand Program was approved by the PM on November 25, 2003, with the Ministry of Industry and Trade appointed as the permanent body which is responsible for coordinating with ministries and sectors to implement the program.

This is the only program of the Government aiming to advertise the national image and brand through the trademarks of products.
