National Steering Committee on ASEAN single window has more tasks
VGP – The PM has issued Decision No. 684/QĐ-TTg on amending and supplementing Decision No. 1899/QĐ-TTg on the establishment of the National Steering Committee on ASEAN single window, National Single Window and Trade facilitation.
Specifically, the Committee is tasked to join hand with related ministries, agencies and organizations in completing policies, launching development and quality improvement measures, increasing the effectiveness and adaption capacity of logistics in line with demands of the economic development as well as upgrading the competitiveness capacity of the economy.
The Committee is chaired by Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue. Two deputy heads of the Committee are Minister of Finance (permanent) and leader of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Earlier on October 4, 2016, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed Decision no.1899/QD-TTg to establish the National Steering Committee on ASEAN single window, National Single Window and Trade facilitation.
With key task of facilitating trade, the National Steering Committee would have been unity in directing, operating from the Government for reforms, simplification of administrative procedures in the field with participation of many ministries such as specialized inspection in export and import goods.
