The event is expected to create forces for promoting Viet Nam's technology companies' eco-system with the prospect of making the nation become a technological nation.

The forum also aims to improve the growth quality and upgrade the economy to higher level in the value chain, especially when the nation’s technology businesses are tasked to take the lead in the process of national digital transformation and establishment of a digital economy and society.

It creates an opportunity for sharing inspirations, proposing breakthrough measures and initiatives and mobilizing social resources for promoting the development of Viet Nam’s technology enterprises.

The event is expected to attract the participation of 1,000 delegates, including domestic and foreign top technology specialists as well as start-ups operating in technology in Viet Nam.

The technology application and development heading to a community of 100,000 technology companies in Viet Nam is one of breakthrough measures to lift the nation to become a high-income nation by 2045.

Earlier, in January 2019, the PM has approved a plan on promotion of transfer, mastery and development of overseas technology in prioritized areas and sectors in Viet Nam till 2025, with a vision to 2030.
