As many as 300 people, including artists and students, from 12 ethnic groups of 11 localities, are expected to take part in the event.

Diverse activities such as a photo exhibition on ancestral land - the origin of Vietnamese ethnic culture, a traditional market of Ha Giang province, traditional festivals of the Mong ethnic minority group, the moon festival of the 7th lunar month of the Dao ethnic group in Ha Noi’s Ba Vi district, a festival of the Cham ethnic minority group in An Giang province, will be organized.

Furthermore, a traditional swimming festival in the northern province of Phu Tho will be also re-enacted at the village, demonstrating the martial art spirit and resilience of ancestors.

The organising board will also host a full-moon day festival of the Dao ethnic minority people from HaNoi’s Ba Vi District to pay tribute to the deceased.
