NA opens Autumn session

VGP – The 13th National Assembly opened its 8th session at its newly-built house on October 20.

During the session, the Legislature is expected to pass 18 draft laws, including the Investment Law (revised), Law on Special Consumption Tax (revised), Law on Real Property Business.

The National Assembly will discuss three resolutions and comment on 12 other bills, socio-economic development in 2014 and economic restructuring process.

The construction of the Long Thanh international airport in the Southern province of Dong Nai will also be brought to discussion.

At recent Government’s monthly meeting, PM Nguyen Tan Dung tasked relevant bodies to finalize the Investment Report on the construction of the airport which must clearly define the necessity, investment stages, capital sources, capital mobilization plans as well as its socio-economic efficiency.

The Minister of Transport will present the report to the Legislature./.
