NA interpellation starts

VNGOVNet – On November 24, three ministers of Transport, Resources and Environment, and Agriculture and Rural Development started the National Assembly interpellation.

Minister of Transport Hồ Nghĩa Dũng in the interpellation

Minister of Transport Hồ Nghĩa Dũng gave answers relating to four major issues: traffic safety; managing construction investments and how to improve the efficiency of this work; personnel management within the Ministry; and solutions to behind-schedule construction projects. 

 

Minister of Resources and Environment in the interpellation

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Mai Ái Trực presented a brief report on the work of weather forecast in general and hurricane forecast in the Eastern Sea in particular; flawed collateral and mortgage registration; unperformed plans; and appropriation, abuse and prodigality of land as well as solutions to these problems.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Đức Phát replied to questions on six topics: agricultural production and epidemic control for crops and domestic animals, especially against brown plant hopper and ragged stunt rice disease, as well as the milk-cow development program; the ranger apparatus, Program 661 and the rearrangement of State agriculture and forestry enterprises in combination with the allocation of forests and forestry lands; irrigation fees, Bắc Hưng Hải Irrigation Project and the status of river-bank and coastal land erosions throughout the country; food hygiene and safety; support to the development of agricultural cooperatives, and agricultural and rural development, industrialization and modernization; and the sector's support to farmers and rural areas after Vietnam became a full WTO member.
