NA deputies to elect new State President at beginning of next session

VGP - The National Assembly (NA) deputies will elect new State President at the beginning of their sixth session of the 14th NA.

The information was released by NA General Secretary and Chairman of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc at the NA Standing Committee’s 28th meeting on October 16.

Mr. Phuc said that the agenda includes ratifying the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and related documents, and considering adopting a resolution on extending the pilot issuance of e-visas for foreigners entering Viet Nam.

The sixth session will be held within 24 days, opening on October 22 and closing on November 21.
