NA Chairwoman receives Hungarian Chief Prosecutor

VGP - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan expected that the Vietnamese and Hungarian supreme procuracies will promote their cooperation more intensively and practically in the upcoming time at her reception for Hungarian Chief Prosecutor Peter Polt on September 17 in Ha Noi.

At the meeting, Ms. Ngan supposed that the Hungarian supreme procuracy’s visit to Viet Nam has contributed to consolidating and developing the two sides’ cooperative relations in general but also cooperation in justice in particular. 

Mr. Peter Polt updated his host on the results of his meeting with leaders of the Supreme People’s Procuracy of Viet Nam, adding that the two sides agreed to be each other’s strategic partners and expand their collaboration in the prevention of high-tech and economic crimes and corruption. They will also foster joint personnel training and build strategies for development.

The two agencies will continue close coordination in training law-making and justice staff. The Hungarian side will increase more scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary in the upcoming time. 

Viet Nam is enhancing justice reform, asserted Ms. Ngan, expressing her hope that the two sides will promote delegation and experience exchanges in the future.
