At the meeting, the Thai PM supposed that the cooperative relations between the two Governments have contributed to enhancing economic cooperative mechanisms, especially the joint cabinet meeting mechanism between the two Governments.

The Thai Government expects Viet Nam to create favorable conditions for Thai enterprises and the Thai banks to open branches in Viet Nam.

He suggested the two sides seek for a tourism model in line with the demand of each side’s people and accelerate waterway and road tourism.

At the meeting, Ngan conveyed the greetings of PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc to his Thai counterpart Prayuth Chan-ocha.

The Vietnamese National Assembly always advocates the two nations to boost cooperation, she asserted, highly appraising the fruitful development in the Viet Nam-Thailand Strategic Partnership.

Viet Nam welcomes Thai investors to pour investment in areas of Viet Nam’s demands and Thailand’s advantages, she said, requiring the two sides to share experience in tourism and high-tech.

On the occasion, Ngan expressed thanks to Thailand for backing Viet Nam to nominate as the non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council in 2020-2021 tenure.

She hoped that Thailand will support the viewpoint of addressing disputes at seas through peaceful measures in line wit international law, raising its voice to maintain regional peace and establish ASEAN of solidarity and increasing its status in the world.
