NA Chairwoman meets Kazakhstani PM

VGP – The Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) supports the cooperation between the Vietnamese and Kazakhstani Governments to establish and complete the legal systems to facilitate foreign businesses and investors, including those from Kazakhstan.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made that statement at the meeting with Kazakhstani PM Bakytzhan Sagintayev on October 17 on the occasion of her official visit to Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, Ms. Ngan highlighted that her official visit is aimed at consolidating the traditional relationship between the two nations and their legislative bodies, adding that Viet Nam expects to promote the bilateral relations more effectively. 

She expressed her thanks to Kazakhstan for close and effective cooperation with Viet Nam at multi-lateral forums, hoping to maintain and enhance information exchanges and mutual understanding. 

PM Bakytzhan Sagintayev highly appraised the Vietnamese NA delegation’s official visit to Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties as well as achievements gained after the Viet Nam-Eurasian Union Free Trade Agreement was inked.

To fully exploit benefits of the Agreement, they consented to evaluate the outcomes after one year implementing the Agreement. 

Ms. Ngan briefed outcomes of the talks Chairman of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Kazakhstani Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin to the PM and ways to boost cooperation between the two nations’ legislative bodies.

She asked the two sides to enhance trade promotion activities, suggesting the Kazakhstani PM facilitate the Vietnamese enterprises' efforts to to seek for investment and business opportunities in Kazakhstan.
