Myanmar, VN boost military medical cooperation

VGP – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army (VPA) welcomed Major General Soe Win, head of the Myanmar’s army medical department in Ha Noi on September 6.

At the reception, Mr. Nam highlighted the sound friendship between Viet Nam and Myanmar in all fields, including defence.

He noted bilateral defence cooperation is one of the key pillars in Viet Nam-Myanma ties.

Viet Nam’s Ministry of National Defence and the VPA General Staff will create the best conditions for the two countries’ military medical forces to enhance cooperation, he affirmed.
 
In turn, Soe Win informed his host about the outcomes of his working sessions with the Vietnamese army medical department and military hospitals.

The meetings allow the two countries to share experience and boost cooperation in training.
