Multifaceted cooperation to be consolidated between VN and UAE

State President Nguyễn Minh Triết and PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng separately welcomed Vice President-PM Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

During the receptions, the leaders all expressed their delight at good progresses of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries over the past time. State President Nguyễn Minh Triết affirmed that Việt Nam place a great importance on solidifying the relations with traditional friends, including the UAE. On the basis of the good relationship between the two States and peoples, Việt Nam wants to boost cooperation with the UAE in all fields and share experience of economic development, he said.
PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng also highlighted the Vietnamese Government and people’s desire to promote cooperation with the UAE in the fields of investment, trade, labor, gas and oil, banking, transport, tourism, culture and sports.
On the occasion, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng informed the guest about Việt Nam’s decision to upgrade her Dubai-based consulate general to the embassy. Vice President-PM Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum also revealed that the UAE will open its embassy in Việt Nam soon.

After their talks in the morning, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and Vice President-PM Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum witnessed the signing of the Memoranda on the cooperation in standard and measurement; on the cooperation between the Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry; on the cooperation between the UAE Securities and Properties Commission and the Việt Nam Securities Commission; and on the industrial cooperation and development.
