More than VND15,000 bln in Government bonds mobilized in July

VGP - The Ha Noi Stock Exchange organized 14 auctions of Government bonds in July, collecting VND15,170 billion, down 32% against the previous month.

While five-year bonds were sold with annual interest rates of around 4.48-4.9%, annual interest rates for seven-, 10- and 15-year bonds are 4.95-5.19%, 5.38% and 5.75-6.25%, respectively.
The sold 20- and 30-year bonds bear the respective interest rates of 5.82-6.55% and 6.22-6.65% per annum.

The interest rates dropped sharply compared to those in June, down 0.42% for five-year bonds, 0.25% for seven-year bonds, 0.27% for 10-year bonds, 0.55% for 15-year bonds, 0.85% for 20-year bonds, and 0.88% for 30-year bonds.

On the secondary market, more than 1.02 billion Government bonds worth VND110 trillion were sold via outright transactions in July, down 1.3% in value from June.
Meanwhile, over 988 million Government bonds worth VND98.8 trillion were sold via repo transactions, down 0.42% in value from June.

The outright transactions purchased by foreign investors attained more than VND8,100 billion and the outright transactions sold by foreign investors exceeded VND5,600 billion.
