More congratulations on VN’s National Day

VGP – Leaders from Brunei, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), the Republic of Korea, Italy, the U.S., Ukraine, Hungary, Mongolia and Sweden sent letters of greetings to the Vietnamese Party and State leaders on the 74thanniversary of the National Day of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945).

In his message sent to Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong and PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiahexpressed his belief that the Viet Nam–Brunei comprehensive partnership will further grow in fields of mutual interest in the near future. 

He said Viet Nam and Brunei continue to be important partners at regional and global forums, and affirmed that Brunei supports Viet Nam in successfully playing the role of ASEAN Chair in 2020. 

DPRK Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent congratulatory message to Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen PhuTrong and Premier Kim Jea Ryong extended his congratulations to PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc. 

In his message, he congratulated the Vietnamese Party, Government and people on its achievements gained under the leadership of the Vietnamese Communist Party, expressing his hope that the two nations’ traditional cooperative friendship relationship will be further enhanced and developed in all fields. 

In a message cabled to President Trong, President of the RoK Moon Jae-in expressed his wish to work with the Vietnamese President to further deepen bilateral links in a mutually-beneficial and future-looking way. 

In his message to Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong, Italian President Sergio Mattarella hoped that on the basis of the consolidated Strategic Partnership, Viet Nam and Italy will take advantages of all opportunities to deepen and strengthen cooperation in both bilateral and multi-lateral aspects. 

U.S. President Donald J. Trump, for his part, expressed his profound gratitude for Viet Nam’s successful organization of the historic U.S. – DPRK Summit in February 2019. 

He wished to continue cooperating with Viet Nam to strengthen bilateral relationship and step up joint priorities in Indo-Pacific. 

On behalf of the Ukrainian people, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wished Viet Nam peace and prosperity, expecting that their friendship relations will head to peace and comprehensive cooperation for the sake of their people. 

Party chief Trong received greetings from Hungarian President Áder János, Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga and Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf. 

On the occasion, DPRK FM Ri Yong-ho, Mongolian FM Damin Tgogtbaatar, and Serbian Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic also extended congratulations to Deputy PM and FM Pham Binh Minh.
