Minister-Chairman of Government Office visits Laos

VGP - Minister-Chairman of the Government's Office Mai Tien Dung led a delegation to pay a working visit to Luang Prabang from March 26-28, Laos at the invitation of his Lao counterpart Phet Phomphiphak.

March 27, 2017 3:41 PM GMT+7

The visit looks to cement and deepen the cooperation between the Office of the Vietnamese Government and the Lao PM’s Office.

As scheduled, in Luang Prabang, the Vietnamese leader would chair the fourth workshop with his Lao counterpart to share experience and promote cooperative ties among the two Offices.

The workshop is of extreme significance as the two countries have been preparing for the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties (1962-2017) and the 40th anniversary of the singing of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (1977-2017).

On this occasion, Mr. Dung would work with local leaders of Luang Prabang province; visit some economic, cultural and education sites; and the Vietnamese Consulate General in Laos./.
