A series of questions on administrative reform, administrative procedure streamlining in accordance with the improvement of public service quality and labor capacity, salary reform and evaluation of staff groups were raised for the minister.

According to Minister Binh, only  0.46% of public officials failed to fulfill their assigned tasks.

He also revealed that his Ministry has already submitted a draft decree on punishment of public officials for issuance, which is likely to be made in Q1, 2015.

Earlier on November 17, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented a report on the implementation of NA’s Resolutions on the Q&A session with four topics on assessment of the apparatus; guidance of implementation of the Law on Public Officials and Civil Servants; salary regulations; and administrative reform and one-stop-shop mechanism.

Regarding salary and public subsidy, since 2011, the basis salary has been raised three times and public subsidy two times.

A string of regulations and policies have been introduced to  improve the investment and business environment and speed up the administrative reform in the areas of tax, customs, social insurance, land, construction, establishment and dissolution of enterprises, investment and power access.

The same day, the Minister of Transport also joined the Q&A session./.
