December 21, 2006 9:53 AM GMT+7

Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng authorized the Minister of Education and Training to assess and approve the Project as well as the Financial Agreement between the Vietnamese and French Governments for this project.

The Deputy PM ordered the Ministry of Education and Training (MET) to seriously review its observation of the stipulations on assessing and signing the agreements and documents of the Project.

On May 15, 2006 in Hanoi, leaders of the MET and the representative of the French Government signed the Financial Agreement on the Project “French University Centers.” Accordingly, the centers are hi-quality training establishments located at the Hanoi and Hồ Chí Minh City National Universities. They will issue French national diplomas and certificates. The Project is aimed at setting up French training programs in Vietnam on the Europe model of LMD (License - Master – Doctor). The Project is funded with €3 million from the French Government.
